The APU mentoring program has always been a vital and crucial part of my social and spiritual development as a Christian and college student. Connor was my mentor during my senior year in college. Although it was strictly through Zoom calls and text messages, Connor helped me with navigating through my final year of college, implementing my career, regardless of where I work, and my passions, like music and writing, for God’s glory. Connor also was a friend to talk to about the stresses and concerns that I had during that time, which was Covid era, and the anxieties of life after graduating college. The time spent together, the prayers, the conversations, and generosity that Connor showed were apparent. Although I may not remember all that was said during that time, I do remember how I felt during that time. Connor was a great presence with his calm demeanor and understanding mind towards me as I prepared for the real world beyond college. A great man and a great follower of Christ.
