Embrace. Equip. Empower.
Creating with purpose, impacting with intention—because we choose to, not because we have to.
Problem
There’s a crisis affecting the long-term effectiveness of service providers supporting vulnerable communities through music education.
Every day, nonprofit leaders face isolation, overwhelming needs, and a lack of resources, leaving vulnerable communities underserved. Challenges such as poverty, suicide, violence, incarceration, and unresolved trauma persist without sustainable solutions.
We have a DEEP problem.
- Desperation: Vulnerable communities remain underserved.
- Exhaustion: Service providers are stretched too thin.
- Empty: Resources are limited.
- Pay: Financial support is insufficient.
SOLUTION: APPRENTICESHIP
We facilitate holistic music production apprenticeships to sustainably embrace, equip, and empower individuals, service providers, and vulnerable communities.
We prioritize individuals connected to organziations using music production to impact vulnerable communities. Through holistic training, vulnerable communities are served, service providers are supported and sustainable, resources are accessible, finances are available, and new discples of Jesus are made.
We have a DEEP solution.
- Distribute: our presence, time, energy, skills, and finances together
- Equip: Champions through holistic apprenticeships
- Empower: vulnerable communities, service providers, and individuals
- Produce: sustainable results of postive change through prayer, collaboration, and hard work
How Did We Come To These Conclusions?
After working with clientele professionally such as Justin Bieber with WeTheBand, The Roast of Alec Baldwin with Comedy Central, iHeartRadio, Milk & Honey Music, Disney, Andy Mineo, Phil Wickham, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Churchome with Pastor Judah Smith; along with many others.
He transitioned to serving the Watts Empowerment Center in the Imperial Courts Housing Project in 2021. He committed to being a consistent presence, teaching and empowering the community in music creation, production, and performance.
With 80+ students served, one student accepted into arts college, numerous performances, and thousands of hours of studio time; there has been a lot of upliftment, empowerment, and opportunity.
But there was a problem!
- Limited time
- Limited staff
- Limited resources
And still so many needs...
People Directly Helping Vulnerable Communities
Start hopeful, then the struggles, challenges, and limited time and resources exhaust many people and they stop serving.
People Working With Service Providers
People get excited and quickly get involved with a service provider. They volunteer, show up, maybe join as part time staff. Over time however, grants run out, funding is cut, personal problems arise, vision of the direction is different, or emergencies happen. The individual transitions and the community is helped, but not sustainably.
People say things like: "I love what you're doing, but I need to focus on my own music career."
The service provider may be in a place where they consistently contribute, the team is small but mightly, but over time greater exhaustion can start to set in.
People Impacting Through DEEP Apprenticeships
Through DEEP Apprenticeships, we believe God calls us all to live sustainable holistic healthy lives, that we may serve God and people. You can continue your journey by joining this community through praying weekly, sharing resources, giving any amount financially, and serving in your community utilizing this content.
People are excited to serve and want to contribute as an individual or in partnership with a service provider. Therefore, we embrace, equip, and empower developing apprentices through skill building and creating availability to support the needs of the community. They are given clear expectations, understanding of the culture, and are connected with the important community leaders.
If funding is available, there are opportunities to cover the gaps of grants or lost funding, to keep people present with the communities that need help most.
